Magic Castle
We had brunch at the Magic Castle in Hollywood. We had “won” the opportunity through a silent auction for the DMI (Dale Memorial Invitational) Basketball Tournament. Accompanying the four of us were Ryan (Morgan’s boyfriend) and JC (Stephanie’s boyfriend).

Morgan, along with 14 other teens from temples & churches across the US, attended the Buddhist Churches of America’s Youth Advocacy Council Retreat from July 6-12, 2015, at the Buddhist Church of Sacramento.
ESHS Prom 2015

We celebrate Sue Uematsu’s 92nd birthday and Stephanie Gee’s 20th birthday at Aki Restaurant in West LA.
Joint Hoonko Service
On January 18, 2015, we participated in a couple of special ceremonies in conjunction with a Ho-onko service (Shinran Shonin memorial) at Gardena Buddhist Church.
