San Luis Obispo
We traveled up the Central Coast of California to attend a memorial service for Iris’ cousin, Jim Okada. We stayed at an Embassy Suites in San Luis Obispo and had dinner at the Madonna Inn, which was just down the road.

Lake Isabella
We spent four days camping at Lake Isabella, which is just east of Bakersfield. We went with the Buchers, the Olsons, and friends of the Buchers from Boy Scouts. Sue’s Knee Surgery
Iris’ mom, Sue, had knee replacement surgery this morning. The operation went well, and we went to visit her in the afternoon.
